LGBT+ role model
James Fletcher (Senior Development Officer) recently updated the informal staff lunchtime gathering on his new role as a University of Oxford-Stonewall LGBT Role Model.
The main objective of the programme is to increase visibility of LGBT role models around the collegiate university. They are seen to take an active role as change agents in the workplace as well as to provide support and guidance for those who define as LGBT+.
James can signpost people to relevant services and groups around the University and is happy to be a friendly face and listening ear for new and current staff who wish to discuss their sexuality and its relevance in the workplace. James keeps a rainbow flag on his desk to highlight that he is here to help if needed.

There are also great links to support for all minority groups and some professions as well as a range of other networks on the University of Oxford Staff Gateway (https://www.ox.ac.uk/staff/working_at_oxford/you_oxford)
